Description An out-of-bounds read/write issue exists in the MessageParser::parseECSSTCHeader() function. This flaw allows an attacker to trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a specially crafted CAN message. An out-of-bounds read/write occurs when a program accesses memory outside the boundaries of a defined buffer, which can lead to system instability or crashes.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
