Description An Improper Link Resolution Before File Access (Link Following) issue exists. This occurs when a program does not properly verify that a symbolic link or hard link does not point to an unintended file before accessing it. A low privileged attacker with local access could exploit this to achieve Arbitrary Write, which allows writing data to memory or files that should be protected.
