Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s DAMON sysfs interface. Specifically, when a context DAMON sysfs directory setup fails after the setup of the ‘attrs/’ directory, the subdirectories within ‘attrs/’ are not properly cleaned up. This results in a broken DAMON sysfs interface until a system reboot and causes memory leakage due to the unremoved directory.
