Description
A use after free issue exists in Extensions that allows a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox. This is achieved by leveraging social engineering to induce the installation of a crafted Chrome extension. Use after free is a memory corruption flaw that occurs when an application continues to use a pointer after it has been freed.
Recommendations
Update Google Chrome to version 152.0.7977.65 or later.
