Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Virtuagym (affected versions not specified)
Description Hard-coded credentials within the application allow the unauthorized generation of physical access QR codes. The generation process utilizes the badge number parameter as the HMAC (Hash-based Message Authentication Code) private key. This value is static and can be retrieved via the API endpoint '/club/ id club /member/ id member /resamania qr info'. Because the APK lacks code obfuscation, the cryptographic logic can be extracted through reverse engineering. An attacker with this information could generate valid QR codes indefinitely, regardless of password changes or user logout status.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
