Description An issue exists in the s390/vfio ccw component where the CRW region, which relies exclusively on asynchronous events from hardware, lacks a proper locking mechanism. This necessitates the implementation of a crw lock to manage the list of payloads and ensure they are read cohesively, unlike the channel program struct which handles both synchronous I/O submissions and asynchronous interrupts.
