Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An array out-of-bounds issue exists in the Focaltech driver. The
focaltech process rel packet() function fails to properly handle the finger index in the packet. When the index is 0, subtracting 1 results in a negative index, leading to a write operation at state->fingers[-1] instead of triggering the overflow check for FOC MAX FINGERS.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
