Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A use-after-free issue exists in the batman-adv module. The pskb may pull() function, when called by batadv get vid(), may reallocate the buffer behind the socket buffer (skb). If variables pointing to the old buffer are not reassigned, it leads to a use-after-free condition, where the system attempts to access memory that has already been freed.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
