Description A divide-by-zero issue exists in the enetc4 default rings allocation() function when distributing rings among Physical Functions (PF) and Virtual Functions (VF). This occurs in the i.MX94 series because standalone ENETCs do not support Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV), resulting in the num vsi variable being zero. While ARM64 architectures may not crash due to how UDIV/SDIV instructions handle division by zero, this behavior is undefined in C and creates cross-platform compatibility risks.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
