Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the ieee802154 module where the cfg802154 switch netns() function calls WARN ON() upon encountering an -ENOMEM error (out of memory) during dev change net namespace() and device rename() operations. This results in unnecessary kernel splats—error messages printed to the kernel log—particularly during deliberate fault injections, without providing useful diagnostic information.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
