Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the drm/amdkfd component where the amdgpu amdkfd gpuvm free memory of gpu() function unpins DOORBELL and MMIO remap BOs (Buffer Objects) before verifying if the BO is still mapped to the GPU. If the BO remains mapped, the function returns -EBUSY and keeps the BO alive, but the unpinning action has already occurred. Consequently, the BO is unpinned a second time during process teardown, which triggers a ttm bo unpin() underflow warning.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
