Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A NULL dereference occurs in the
dwc pcie rasdes debugfs deinit() function. This happens because dwc pcie rasdes debugfs init() returns success even when the controller lacks RAS DES (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability Device Error Reporting Structure) capability, leaving the pci->debugfs->rasdes info variable unset. During the debugfs teardown process, the system calls dwc pcie rasdes debugfs deinit(), which attempts to access rasdes info without verifying if it was allocated.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
