Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the Coresight ETE (Embedded Trace Extension) component where system register ETMs and ETE are not preserved during CPU power down. This occurs because the ETE Device Tree (DT) binding lacks documentation for arm,coresight-loses-context-with-cpu and ACPI lacks a corresponding binding. Additionally, the use of a global variable when setting up save state can lead to issues during concurrent probing when devices have different configurations. This can result in errors when using Coresight with ACPI on the Fixed Virtual Platform (FVP) that supports CPU Power Management (PM), specifically triggering a warning in the coresight disclaim device unlocked() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
