Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A null pointer dereference exists in the dsm create() function within the crypto: ccp/sev-dev-tsm component. While the function initially checks if pdev->bus is NULL to compute the segment id variable, subsequent lines unconditionally dereference pdev->bus through pcie find root port() and pci dev id(pdev). If pdev->bus is NULL, this leads to a kernel crash.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
