Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the mtk eth soc ethernet driver where the mtk poll controller function incorrectly passes a net device pointer instead of a mtk eth structure pointer to the mtk handle irq rx() function. This mismatch occurs because mtk handle irq rx() expects a pointer matching the request irq cookie. When CONFIG NET POLL CONTROLLER is enabled, calling ndo poll controller leads to a system crash.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
