Description An authorization check is missing in the KFD IOC DBG TRAP DISABLE function within the drm/amdkfd module. This allows users with access to /dev/kfd to terminate active GPU debug sessions belonging to other processes without having the required ownership or ptrace authorization. ptrace is a system utility used to observe and control the execution of another process.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
