Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the s390/zcrypt component where the
ip cprb helper() function fails to scrub internal buffer memory used for building and processing CPRBs (Common Protected Resource Blocks). This failure can leave sensitive clear key material in memory, potentially exposing it through the reuse of that memory. The issue is specifically triggered during the clear key to secure key token import process within the cca clr2cipherkey() function.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
