Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux Kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the ipvs module where synced connections may incorrectly inherit the IP VS CONN F ONE PACKET flag during the ip vs bind dest() function execution. This occurs when a destination is added after a synced connection has already been created. If a hashed synced connection inherits this flag, the expiry process may misidentify it as a one-packet connection and fail to unlink the existing conn tab node. This leads to stale hash nodes that point to a freed struct ip vs conn, potentially causing memory corruption or system instability.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
