Description An issue exists where resources are allocated without limits or throttling. An attacker with access to the Filebeat HTTP ingestion endpoint can send specially crafted compressed requests to exhaust the memory resources of the Filebeat process, resulting in a denial of service. This occurs through excessive allocation, which is the process of requesting more memory or system resources than the system can handle.
