Description
Insufficient validation of message integrity in the Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME) decryption functionality allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to recover plaintext from encrypted email messages. This is achievable through a machine-in-the-middle technique to intercept and modify traffic between email gateways.
