Description
The REST API authenticator accepts bearer tokens through the
token URL query parameter as a fallback when the X-API-TOKEN header is not used. This behavior leads to the exposure of long-lived API credentials, as they may be recorded in server access logs, proxy logs, browser history, and HTTP Referer headers transmitted to third-party origins.Recommendations
