Description
An integer underflow occurs due to insufficient input validation. Connecting to a malicious SMB server may lead to unexpected system termination. An integer underflow is a condition where a subtraction operation results in a value smaller than the minimum value the variable can hold, causing it to wrap around to a very large positive number.
