Description An issue exists in the Open Shortest Path First version 2 (OSPFv2) implementation. An unauthenticated attacker on the same broadcast segment can send a specially crafted OSPFv2 packet to a system with OSPFv2 authentication configured. This action can lead to adjacency flapping and packet loss, potentially disrupting routing across the broader OSPF domain.
