Description An unauthenticated attacker network-adjacent to the switch can cause a sustained denial of service on devices configured with PIM Sparse Mode and MLAG. By sending malformed messages, the attacker can force the Pimsm agent to terminate unexpectedly. Although the agent restarts automatically, repeated attacks can lead to continuous restarts.
