Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An out-of-bounds array indexing issue exists in the
drm/amdgpu component. The adev->isolation[] array contains one slot per partition; however, rings not assigned to a partition retain the AMDGPU XCP NO PARTITION value (approximately 0), leading to an invalid memory access when used as an index. This issue affects SDMA submissions during isolation enforcement and the VM flush path, triggering UBSAN (Undefined Behavior Sanitizer), a tool used to detect undefined behavior in C/C++ code.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
