Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A divide-by-zero error exists in the is lut linear() function. The function calculates the expected value of each entry using the formula expected = i * MAX DRM LUT VALUE / (size - 1). When the function is called with a single-entry Look-Up Table (LUT), the size - 1 expression results in zero, causing a kernel divide error (#DE). A LUT with fewer than two entries cannot describe a linear mapping.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
