Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A race condition exists in the f2fs file system when updating the critical task priority sysfs entry. While other GC thread control entries and ckpt thread ioprio are protected by the s umount semaphore, critical task priority updates to the checkpoint or GC kthread scheduling state are not. This lack of serialization allows a race condition to occur during remount or teardown processes that are stopping those threads.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
