Description
In the qla2xxx SCSI driver, the sysfs reset operation for updating cache versions without reset (0x20261) calls the
get flash version() function to read hardware flash registers without holding the ha->optrom mutex mutex. Because the VPD update path requires this mutex for the same function call, concurrent operations can interleave flash register accesses, leading to corrupted reads.Recommendations
