Description An issue exists in the sunxi-cir media remote control (rc) component where the system fails to unregister the rc device during a probe failure. When rc register device() succeeds but subsequent operations—such as IRQ lookup, IRQ request, or hardware initialization—fail, the error path only executes rc free device(). This results in the rc device registration and its associated resources remaining active in the system.
