Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the LoongArch BPF implementation where the stack layout places the optional arena register slot above the tail call counter context. When arena vm start is dynamically enabled, it shifts the relative offset of the tcc ptr slot within the stack frame. This causes hardcoded tracking macros to mismatch, which can lead to memory misalignment or corruption. The problem involves the build prologue() and build epilogue() functions.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
