Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the LoongArch KVM implementation where resources are leaked if the kvm init() function fails. The kvm loongarch init() function calls kvm loongarch env init() to allocate the per-CPU kvm context (vmcs) and kvm loongarch ops, and to register perf callbacks. If kvm init() subsequently fails, the system returns the result directly without calling kvm loongarch env exit(), as module init() does not execute module exit() routines upon failure.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
