Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A runtime Power Management (PM) reference leak exists in the ltrf216a get lux() function. The issue occurs when the function calls ltrf216a set power state(data, true) to acquire a reference, but fails to release it if the ltrf216a read data() function returns an error. This results in an unbalanced usage count, which prevents the device from entering its autosuspend state after a failed read operation.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
