Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A power management (PM) reference leak exists in the apds9306 read data() function. The function calls pm runtime resume and get(), but certain error paths return without calling pm runtime put autosuspend(). This failure to release the reference prevents the device from entering its autosuspend state, which is a power-saving mode where the device is automatically suspended when idle.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
