Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the parisc eisa component where providing an invalid value through the eisa irq edge= kernel command line parameter causes the eisa irq setup() function to enter an infinite loop during the boot process. This occurs because the function prints an error message but fails to advance the current position to the next comma-separated entry, leading to the repeated parsing of the same invalid value.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
