Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the USB gadget MIDI function where work is not properly initialized. The f midi alloc() function initializes free ref to 1, but the INIT WORK process is only performed within f midi bind() via f midi register card(). If f midi bind() is never executed, the work remains uninitialized. Consequently, when the condition in f midi free() becomes true, it triggers a warning in flush work() because the work->func is set to 0.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
