Description
The edgserver management protocol transmits sensitive information in cleartext. This allows a network-adjacent passive observer to intercept management traffic and recover sensitive device identity and network metadata. Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information refers to the failure to encrypt sensitive data during transmission, making it readable to anyone who can capture the network traffic.
