Description
A BIND resolver may experience excessive CPU consumption when constructing a response if it has cached a tree of SVCB/HTTPS AliasMode records and is subsequently queried for the root of that tree.
Recommendations
Update BIND 9 versions 9.18.0 through 9.18.50 to a version prior to 9.20.29 or 9.21.26 as applicable.
Update BIND 9 versions 9.20.0 through 9.20.27 to version 9.20.29.
Update BIND 9 versions 9.21.0 through 9.21.25 to version 9.21.26.
Update BIND 9 versions 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.50-S1 to a version prior to 9.20.29 or 9.21.26 as applicable.
