Description A validly signed NSEC3 (Next Secure record version 3, used in DNSSEC to prove the non-existence of a record) from an unrelated sibling zone may be accepted as an insecurity proof. This allows a secure delegation to be downgraded, which can enable a forged unsigned answer to be accepted.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
