Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Cisco ISE (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue in the web-based management interface allows an authenticated remote attacker with at least low-privileged administrative credentials to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. This is caused by insecure deserialization of a user-supplied Java byte stream, where an attacker sends a crafted serialized Java object to the interface. Successful exploitation can lead to arbitrary code execution and privilege escalation to root. In single-node deployments, this may result in a denial of service (DoS) condition, preventing unauthenticated endpoints from accessing the network until the node is restored.
