Description Insufficient access controls within a privileged Named Pipe service in the Acer System Monitoring component allow an authenticated local user to perform unauthorized registry operations. This flaw can lead to privilege escalation or a full compromise of the affected system. A Named Pipe is a mechanism for interprocess communication that allows two processes to communicate with each other.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
