Description
An issue exists in the ALSA control LED state layer where the system assumes all associated kcontrol elements are readable. If a write-only element is created without a get callback, it can trigger a NULL dereference—a situation where the software attempts to read data from a memory address that is null—within the
snd ctl led notify() function call chain.Recommendations
