Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A resource leak exists in the error handling path of the copy net ns() function. The issue occurs because preinit net() returns early when the ns common init() function fails, causing copy net ns() to jump to the dec ucounts: label. This sequence prevents the release of resources allocated by net alloc(), which requires calls to key remove domain() and net passive dec() to be properly freed.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
