Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the irqchip/gic-v5 component where the Interrupt Routing System (IRS) affinity setup publishes an IRS pointer and IAFFID state in the per-CPU data before the remaining IRS initialization is completed. If initialization fails, the error path frees the IRS data without clearing the published state, which results in CPUs remaining associated with freed memory. This occurs during both initialization failure and normal IRS teardown.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
