Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A race condition exists in the rzg2l clear irq int() and rzg2l clear tint int() functions. These functions perform a read-modify-write operation on the ISCR and TSCR status registers to clear the bit of the handled interrupt. Because these registers use a write-0-to-clear mechanism, if a different interrupt status bit is set between the read and write operations, the software-constructed value writes that bit back as 0. This results in the clearing of an interrupt that has not yet been serviced, leading to a loss of interrupt.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
