Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists where BPF programs attached to
BPF CGROUP UNIX GETPEERNAME and BPF CGROUP UNIX GETSOCKNAME hooks run without acquiring the socket lock. Because the helpers bpf setsockopt() and bpf getsockopt() call sock owned by me() for full sockets, they expect the socket lock to be held. Consequently, calling these functions within the specified hooks can trigger a sock owned by me() warning.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
