Description
A memory leak exists in the firewire core component. In the error path of the
build tree() function, node instances may remain in the local linked list upon function return. This occurs when an invalid value is detected in the self ID sequence, preventing the allocated node instances from being properly released.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
