Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the BPF (Berkeley Packet Filter) subsystem where the verifier fails to properly compare iterator types during state pruning. Specifically, iterator stack slots can be categorized as MEM RCU or PTR UNTRUSTED. If these states are incorrectly treated as equal, the verifier may prune an unsafe execution path, potentially leading to unauthorized memory access or system instability.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
