Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the RDMA/cma component where a warning is triggered in the
res to rt() function during asynchronous address resolution. The problem occurs within the addr handler() function when cma acquire dev by src ip() fails to populate the device and returns an error. In such cases, the system previously called rdma restrack add() unconditionally, passing a resource with a NULL dev pointer, which triggered a WARN ON assertion.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
