Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the RDMA/cxgb4 component where the per-device debugfs tree, created by
c4iw alloc() via setup debugfs(), is not properly removed during registration failure. Specifically, the err dealloc ctx path in the registration worker calls c4iw dealloc() directly, bypassing c4iw remove(). This results in debugfs dentries leaking and persisting after the c4iw dev has been freed.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
