Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the PCI dwc endpoint where the MSI path fails to flush posted MSI writes before unmapping the iATU (Address Translation Unit) entry. When the Endpoint driver detects a change in the MSI target address, the function
dw pcie ep raise msi irq() unmaps the existing iATU entry to reprogram it. If a posted write is still present in the fabric during this process, unmapping the entry can cause the write to be dropped or misrouted.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
